Milestones in Dialysis
Heat Disinfection Introduced to the nephrology community with the 2008C machine, this automated program offered the first non-toxic method of machine disinfection. By heating the extracorporeal circuit to 83 8C, water and dialysate pathways are sterilized without the use of chemicals. The community had a hygienic, environmentally-friendly and reliable method of preparing equipment to meet the exacting standards of the industry.
